Walk in the park for diabetes charity
LUDLOW MP Philip Dunne is backing a local Craven Arms support group which is organising a sponsored Walk in the Park in aid of Diabetes UK.
The event will take place at the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms on Sunday, May 18,with registration starting at 9.30am. Walkers can choose between a 2, 4.5 and 7 mile walk depending on ability, with the shorter walk around Onny Meadows, suitable for disabled and lesser able-bodied people who want to take part and be sponsored.
Entry is free and all walkers will receive a Diabetes UK rucksack, refreshments and a medal on completion.
